Lara Logan

 Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is an South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan called her factually inaccurate and biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10 years of watching." In 2019, she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming platform owned by Fox News, in January 2020. In March 2022, she announced that she was "dumped" by the company. Logan was an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she became an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years then, she switched to freelance journalism. Assignments included those as a reporter/editor/producer with ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on major events, such as the bombings in 1998 of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania, conflict in Northern Ireland and the Kosovo war, she was employed by CNN.
