Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has won a number awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The following year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984) in which she received praise from critics for her work as a comic actress as well as a writer. She was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
